Work
Justin Tourtillott has been with Hearing Doctors of Kansas since 2003, joining the practice after earning his degree in audiology. Like his partners, Tourtillott uncovered his own career path by watching a family member in the field.
“I have an older brother who is an audiologist for the United States Air Force, and that’s what got me into it — that and the desire to work in the health care field.”
When it came time to choose a practice, Tourtillott picked Hearing Doctors because of “everybody’s dedication — coming early, staying late, and taking an ownership of the practice.”
Life
Born and raised in Fort Scott, KS, Tourtillott moved to Lawrence for his undergraduate education and loved it so much he decided it was the ideal place to put down roots. There he’s active coaching his boy’s basketball and baseball teams, and regularly cheers on the Jayhawks at KU sporting events (while testing the patience of his business partners and collegiate rivals).
Tourtillott and his wife, Vanessa, have three children. Everett, Benjamin and Leo. Though he spends the bulk of his free time with his family, Tourtillott enjoys golfing when time permits.
