Work
A practicing audiologist since 1990, Kevin Ruggle joined Hearing Doctors of Kansas in 1996. Audiology blends two of Ruggle’s passions — health care (a family pursuit) and technology (he’s quite handy with a smartphone) — making for a perfect fit.
For Ruggle, what sets the practice apart is a willingness to put in extra effort for the best results.
“We’ll do basically whatever it takes to get people what they need. If the patient is motivated to hear better, we will work as hard as they need us to in order to make it work.”
Life
Originally from Perry, Iowa, Ruggle moved to Manhattan to join the practice, and has become deeply attached to the community in the years since. He and his wife, Kristi — a registered nurse at the Manhattan Surgical Center — are active K-State fans and are involved in their local chruch.
A family of adventure seekers, the couple and their three daughters regularly make the trek to Colorado, where they brave both the white-water rapids and the snow-white slopes. The Ruggles are often found running in or training for road races and half marathons in the area.
